Data Analysis Tableau Project - Crime Rates and College Enrollment

For this project, I delved into extensive research to identify and address a real-world problem or phenomenon. With a focus on crime and college enrollment, I meticulously sourced reliable public datasets. To gain deeper insights, I even devised a novel statistic – the Percentage of High School Graduates Enrolling in Universities for each state. Leveraging Tableau, I crafted visualizations by integrating multiple datasets, allowing me to discern and analyze significant trends within the data. To consolidate these findings, I created an interactive Tableau dashboard, seamlessly linking all the visualizations. Subsequently, I documented my discoveries and correlations in a comprehensive paper. This project proved instrumental in honing my data analysis skills, offering a valuable opportunity to apply theory to practice and strengthen my expertise in the field of data analytics.

After selecting a country and industry, I conducted thorough research on the country’s political and economic climate, as well as the competitive landscape of the chosen industry. I then compiled my findings into a 4-5 minute video presentation, offering a final recommendation on whether the investment idea warranted further exploration. This project showcased my analytical and communication skills.
